The German version of the General terms and conditions is legally binding. The English version is for information purposes only.

9.1 By purchasing a ticket, the spectator submits to the Joynext Arena House Rules. In the event of contradictions, the General Terms and Conditions of the organizer listed here shall take precedence, otherwise the house rules shall apply.

9.2 The admission ticket is only valid for the day stated on the ticket.

9.3 The admission ticket must be shown on request.

9.4 In principle, children up to the age of 14, schoolchildren, trainees, students, severely disabled persons and pensioners aged 65 and over are entitled to a discount on the purchase of tickets. Double discounts are not granted. The day, on which the event, for which a ticket is purchased, takes place, is decisive for the respective discount entitlement. Children within the meaning of the family ticket are persons under the age of 18 who still live in their parents' household.

9.5 The current official proof of discount must be carried when entering the arena and shown upon request by security staff. If it is not carried or is not valid, access to the arena may be refused; the rejected customer is not entitled to compensation. Infringements may be punished by expulsion from the arena and criminal charges.

9.6 Children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge, but are not entitled to a seat.

9.7 The organizer points out that the competition times may be changed or postponed at short notice due to the influence of third parties.

9.8 The organizer accepts no liability for force majeure.

9.9 The security staff may carry out body searches and refuse admission to intoxicated visitors.

9.10 It is prohibited to carry drinks (of any kind), glass containers, cans, polystyrene blocks, crates, pyrotechnic fireworks or objects, fireworks, canisters, ladders, umbrellas (except for small ones in rainy weather), weapons and similar dangerous objects. Failure to comply with this prohibition will result in expulsion from the event site without the customer being able to demand a refund of the admission price.

9.11 It is forbidden to bring any documents, drawings, symbols or flags of a political, ideological or advertising nature or any objects that serve commercial purposes and can be seen by third parties.

9.12 In the interests of safety and the orderly and smooth running of the event, the ticket holder is obliged to follow the instructions of the police, the organizer's staff, the security service and the arena management. The use of banners or similar objects is only permitted with the approval of the organizer. The commercial use of photo cameras and other image/film and sound recording devices is prohibited. In principle, bags and backpacks are only permitted up to a size of A4 format.

9.13 Animals are not permitted on the premises.

9.14 By purchasing a ticket for an event of the Organizer, each customer or ticket holder irrevocably consents to the use of their image and voice free of charge for all current and future media for photographs, live broadcasts, broadcasts and/or recordings of images and/or sound made by the Organizer or its agents in connection with the event.

9.15 The purchase of tickets for resale is prohibited. Counterfeit tickets will be reported to the police and banned from the arena.

9.16 Unlawful entry to the arena without an admission ticket or not via the designated entrances will be punished by expulsion from the arena.

9.17 Visitors enter the arena at their own risk. The organizer shall only be liable, irrespective of the legal grounds, for damages caused by the organizer, its legal representatives or vicarious agents through intent or gross negligence. This limitation of liability does not apply to cases of liability for the breach of essential contractual obligations, in cases of liability for damages resulting from injury to life, limb or health and in cases in which liability is mandatory by law; in this respect, the organizer is liable without limitation for damages based on its own breach of duty or on breaches of duty by a legal representative or vicarious agent.

9.18 Smoking is prohibited in the entire arena.

9.19 The organizer is entitled to exclude and expel visitors from the event without compensation if the visitor enters the ice rink, dressing rooms or security area, crosses barriers or causes or participates in violent confrontations.

The stewarding and security service is instructed to issue a ban from the arena on behalf of the organizer in such cases. The instructions of the security service must be followed at all times. They represent the house rules on behalf of the organizer.

It is already the fifth Short Track World Cup in the series this winter. The season goes into the hot phase. At the last station before the final in Gdansk, the favorites are ready to give everything.

The world’s best Short Track athletes compete in Dresden at the first european World Cup of the season. From February 9th to 11th 2024 the JOYNEXT Arena is offering a special sporting spectacle.

5. If the processing is necessary to protect our interests or those of a third party and your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms do not prevail in this regard, Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f) GDPR is the legal basis. 

Disclosure of personal data to third parties and processors

In principle, we do not pass on any data to third parties without your consent. If this is the case, then the data will be passed on on the basis of the aforementioned legal bases, e.g. when data is passed on to online payment providers to fulfill a contract or due to a court order or due to a legal obligation to release the data for the purpose of criminal prosecution or to avert danger or to enforce intellectual property rights.

We also use contract processors (external service providers, e.g. for web hosting of our websites and databases) to process your data. If data is passed on to the processors as part of an agreement on order processing, this is always done in accordance with Art. 28 DS-GVO. We carefully select our processors, check them regularly and have been granted the right to issue instructions regarding the data. In addition, the processors must have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures and comply with the data protection regulations in accordance with the BDSG new version and the GDPR

The adoption of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) created a uniform basis for data protection in Europe. Your data will therefore be processed primarily by companies for which the GDPR applies. Provision of our website and creation of log files
